Huygens, Constantijn

Constantijn Huygens(1596-1687), Dutch Golden Age poet and composer, learned to play several instruments from his father, he played a large number of instruments(lute, gamba, harpsichord) for which he wrote a large number of musical pieces. He played at the Danish Court and for James I of England. He wrote over 700 compositions during his life.
